Worried about chin dimpling?

chin dimple, orange peel chin, chin botox, chin filler

If you are self conscious of the dimpling on your chin, I’ve got just the treatment for you!

What’s a Dimpled Chin?

A dimpled chin, often affectionately called a “chin cleft” or “butt chin”, is when the skin over the chin has a noticeable indentation or dimple. The skin can resemble the texture of an orange. This feature can add character to a face, making it uniquely yours. But for some, it’s a source of self-consciousness, and that’s completely okay!

Why Does It Happen?

The dimple can be genetic or caused by an overactive muscle in your chin.

Treatments for a Dimpled Chin

If you love your dimpled chin, rock it with pride! But if you’re looking to smooth things out a bit, there are a few treatments available that can help:

  1. Botox: While Botox is more commonly known for its wrinkle-smoothing capabilities, it can also help with a dimpled chin. By relaxing the mentalis muscle, Botox can reduce the appearance of the dimple, giving your chin a smoother look.

  2. Dermal Fillers: These are a fantastic option to smooth out the dimple. By injecting a small amount of filler, we can create a more even chin surface. The results are immediate, and you can expect them to last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on the type of filler used.

What’s the Right Choice for You?

Everyone’s face is unique, and what works for one person might not be ideal for another. The best way to determine the right treatment for your dimpled chin is to book a consultation. We can discuss your aesthetic goals, evaluate your chin’s structure, and come up with a tailored plan that suits you best.
